Used as a solar drying chamber to dehydrate water hyacinth, with a scientific and experimental focus.
Grapes, tomatoes, peppers, onions, and started other veggies before moving into the outside garden.
It allows me to grow almost anything I want, extending my growing season from early spring to late fall. I couldn’t be happier with it!
I can sit and happily read my book in 20 degree sunshine while outside the greenhouse it’s -20.
If I had funding I would install another one. We are a non-profit farm running a school program so I’ll be applying for a grant to hopefully get another one.
