What year did you install this greenhouse? 2024
What do you grow inside your greenhouse? It was a late growing season start. I managed to grow a variety of tomatoes, hot peppers, green peppers, and flowers. In 2025, I intend to install solar powered fans to cool my Sungrow Urban. When I look back on the installation process, my builders did a great job. It took about 10 days from beginning to end, given rain days. This included finishing the interior before I began planting my vegetables, flowers, and herbs.
How did your Planta Greenhouse improve your gardening experience? My Sungrow Urban will provide years of fresh produce and extend my ability to grow year-round.
What was your experience like buying from Planta Greenhouses? I bought my greenhouse in 2023 and waited a year until I had it installed. The Planta staff are very supportive and able to answer all questions that I had. My Sungrow Urban arrived on a pallet and was well wrapped in plastic to keep it secure during transport to my home.
What type of upgrades have you done? Tell us about your most innovative DIY solutions added to your greenhouse. I installed flooring, calcite stones in the interior, and a large growing bin. I added solar string lights and will be adding solar powered fans to cool it and another solar panel to heat it during winter weather. I used a fine misting hose to provide water.
What’s your favorite thing about your Planta Greenhouse? I look outside my back door and start planting seeds in winter. It is exactly what I expected it to be and I know I can order additional sections to enlarge my greenhouse, should I need to do so.
Anything else you'd like to add? Fresh produce, year-round. What's not to love!
