The Planta Sungrow Ventilation Window is an excellent addition to any Sungrow Greenhouse. It will promote airflow and improve ventilation, both necessary for healthy plant development and disease management.
The number of recommended windows depends on the size of the greenhouse, the climate and growing zone you’re located, and the variety of plants you’re hoping to grow. However, the following figures are a rough guideline:
For effective circulation, we suggest that you install an even number of ventilation windows on each side of the greenhouse.
This window is a must for the greenhouse even in PNW. If you get the model with the metal rod handle mechanism, the instructions that come with it are not very useful or clear. I pre-drilled the hole for the self tapping screw, just seemed to work better.

It is a good product, I am satisfied with it. I have 2 observations, one is the nuts and bolts should be stainless steel because are rusting and I would like to have a net on the opening to stop the unwanted bugs and animals to access.

A necessary part for small greenhouse. So far the two we have work well and prevent overheating. Temperatures in 20’s here at night and 50’s in day . Greenhouse maintains a60-70 degree . Part of this is due to a 2 ft bed of gravel floor that acts as a heat sink on cold nights. Waits neg to see how deep into our Maine winter, we can grow cold weather greens.
I think next time I will g with the auto lifters.
Overall, my only complaint with the products is the extremely poor instructions on putting it together. Once it is done right, the products work flawlessly.
