In winter, it becomes my sanctuary—my escape from technology, a place to recharge, get creative, and soak up the much-needed sun and heat.

After a rainy summer like last year, I was able to get a good harvest of tomatoes and peppers in the greenhouse, while my outdoor plants mostly produced rotten fruits.

It is a special, calm space. It allows me to grow things that I could hardly grow outside.

We have tomatoes and cucurbits (anything fragile in the cold) and eggplants.

The greenhouse is extremely efficient and the yields are impressive.
